Enquires
If you are not a member and you contact us to make an enquiry, we will retain your information for one year after we have responded to your enquiry.
Members
We will retain your information during your membership and for five years from the end of the membership year in which you cease to be a member of the YHFF, unless we are required by law to retain your personal information for a longer period.
Speakers and sponsors
We will retain your information for five years from the end of the membership year in which you spoke at one of our events or sponsored one of our events.
Our approach to information security
To protect your information, the YHFF has policies and procedures in place to make sure that only authorised personnel can access the information, that information is handled and stored in a secure and sensible manner and all systems that can access the information have the necessary security measures in place.
Sharing your information
The YHFF is run and organised by a committee of Directors (and assistants) and an administrator, who are employed by various other partner organisations. You can find out about our Directors at YHFF Board and our Partner organisations at Partners. Your personal data will be shared with these individuals and their organisations in order for the YHFF to meet its objectives and run events and with any individual or organisation who assists the YHFF in meeting its objectives, for example an event organiser.
Your rights
Please contact us at info@yhff.co.uk to make any of the requests listed below. We may need to verify your identity for your security, in which case your response will be necessary for us to process your request.
The right to access information we hold about you
At any point you can ask us what information we hold about you, why we have that information, who has access to the information and where we got the information. Once we have received your request we will respond within one month of receipt.

If the personal data we hold about you is out of date, incomplete or incorrect, you can inform us and we will ensure that it is updated.
